Data structure

  • will be organized around Cultural Clusters (CC) consisting of interconnected Points of Interest (PoI) on a 3 dimensional system representing their evolution through time – y axis and space – z axis (PoIs on x axis)
  • a PoI may corresponds to many CCs e.g. a monument to CC1 (Architecture) and CC5 (Ethnic groups)

  • information stored by different sources as Sensor Networks, Social Networks, Digital Libraries and Archives, Multimedia Collections, Web Data Services, etc.
  • provision for meaningful and personalized data to users based on their preferences, the time and space
  • interactive services such as information retrieval, suggestions, data analytics and other useful tips.

Information mode

  • descriptions of PoIs derived from open web sources, digital libraries and archives
  • format in video, text, image, simulation
  • social data— comments and opinions from  social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc
  • data gathered from sensors networks referred  to specific PoI
  • web data about cultural events, touristic  attractions, meteorological information
